The Gardenia Branch and Glimmer of Hope Join Forces to Support Breast Cancer Patients at AHN Cancer Institute
Owners Dione O’Dell and Kaleigh O’Dell, a mother-daughter duo who opened The Gardenia Branch in 2020, are working in tandem with local nonprofit, Glimmer of Hope Foundation, to support women battling breast cancer by donating 300 “butterfly cardigans” to the Glimmer of Hope's Metastatic Breast Cancer Center at the AHN Cancer Institute. In addition, Glimmer of Hope is providing $40,000 in funding to support the Center.
AHN West Penn Hospital Awarded for Quality Care of Birthing Patients with Substance Use Disorders
The Jewish Healthcare Foundation awarded AHN West Penn Hospital funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs Substance Abuse Block Grant. The Pennsylvania Perinatal Quality Collaborative team at AHN West Penn, the network’s flagship hospital for maternity care, successfully completed critical milestones in the treatment of and care for maternal substance use disorders and neonatal opiate withdrawal syndrome.
