The Friendship Committee of AHN West Penn Hospital hosted Brunch, Bingo & Bags on Saturday, April 15. Guests enjoyed an afternoon of brunch, games, and prizes including designer purses and cash. Thank you to the Friendship Committee, a volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting AHN West Penn Hospital employees, patients, and community members.

AHN launched an innovative pilot program to better care for North Side residents diagnosed with severe hypertension or heart failure. The Northside Heart to Heart Project at AHN Allegheny General Hospital offers home kits for self-monitoring blood pressure and heart rate, aiming to improve overall health and reduce hospital readmissions for heart patients. The Heart to Heart pilot project was supported by Highmark Foundation and Boston Scientific and has enrolled 120 patients to date with the goal of 500 over the next three years.
