The 7th- and 8th-grade National Junior Honor Society at Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship held a “pink out” in October. Students wore pink and made a small donation to support AHN breast cancer patients. We appreciate the students for thinking of our patients during a difficult time.

In support of economic wellbeing as a component of overall health and wellness, Private Banker Nick Beresh from WesBanco presented solutions to over 500 residents and fellows of AHN’s Graduate Medical Education Program. James B. Reilly, MD, MS, FACP, Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, for AHN stated, "This presentation was part of an on-going series of education sessions designed to enhance a comprehensive graduate medical training program. Financial wellness is part of our commitment to offering a broad array of education for residents and fellows."

In addition to being a corporate donor for the AHN Graduate Medical Education Program, AHN applauds the commitment of WesBanco in educating a new generation of caregivers on financial wellness.

AHN Cancer Institute launched its second year of monthly cancer screenings, free and open to the public, at locations throughout western Pennsylvania. Registration is now open Jan. 4 - Jan. 20 for the first screening at AHN Allegheny Valley Hospital on Saturday, Jan. 28. To register, call 412-359-6665. Special thanks to Cynthia B. Yates for hosting her annual Cindy Stock event and other generous donors who support free cancer screenings in the Pittsburgh area.
