Neighborhood Ford Store Helps AHN Breast Cancer Patients

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Neighborhood Ford Store is helping Allegheny Health Network (AHN) raise awareness for the disease. Neighborhood Ford Store's "Quilt for the Cure" quilters made beautiful, encouraging quilts hung for patients at AHN Allegheny General Hospital's Glimmer of Hope Metastatic Breast Cancer Center. Neighborhood Ford Store Chairman Joseph Thurby (pictured below) also surprised AHN with a $5,000 gift for free hospital parking for breast cancer patients.

Always Remembering

Always Remembering

The Still Remembered Project is a volunteer group of bereaved parents and families who saw a need to provide support and remembrance keepsakes to families after pregnancy/infant loss. This year, the Project generously gifted a number of items to AHN West Penn Hospital and all AHN hospitals, including memory boxes, miscarriage care packages, angel gowns, pregnancy loss books, and more. The Project has been a compassionate AHN supporter since 2016.
