AHN heart failure patients and families are now able to order free, pre-made heart-healthy meals through the Papa Joe's Plates App, thanks to the Joe Beretta Foundation. The free app also offers access to recipes for heart-healthy eating, a food log, sodium calculator, tips for living with heart failure, videos, and more resources and tools. After a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AHN West Penn Hospital’s Burn Center resumed its in-person annual summer camp for children with burn injuries. On June 4-8, the Burn Camp brought its mission of healing, fellowship, and hope to children and teenagers from throughout the region who have suffered burn injuries.

In support of economic wellbeing as a component of overall health and wellness, WesBanco, Inc. has partnered with AHN's Graduate Medical Education program to provide physician trainees at AHN Allegheny General Hospital with complimentary financial education services. The partnership will help alleviate challenges in managing their personal finances faced by physicians during their residencies and fellowships.
