Terry & Janet Serafini & GE Healthcare Foundation Support Minority Students

Terry and Janet Serafini, GE Healthcare Foundation, and Allegheny Health Network (AHN) teamed up to offer local minority student populations medicine-based curriculum, fostering an inclusive and enriching environment in math and sciences. Through a gift from the Serafinis, the Stimulation, Teaching, and Academic Research (STAR) Center at AHN will extend its services to younger students in grades 7-12, with a focus on students from disadvantaged communities.

Olive Donates Meals to AHN Allegheny Valley Staff

AHN Allegheny Valley staff were treated to free lunches, thanks to the generosity of Olive. The Ohio-based artificial intellience (AI) solutions company is traveling across the U.S., stopping at hospitals to donate meals to frontline workers. Olive staff distributed approximately 700 pre-packaged lunches to AHN Allegheny Valley staff, who were invited to learn about Olive's AI solutions for healthcare systems.

Join AHN for Pittsburgh Gives Online Event

Support AHN Healthy Food Centers on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 when the Pittsburgh Foundation and The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County host a Critical Needs Alert online giving event to support basic needs and essential human services in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties. This year’s Critical Needs Alert will take place online at pittsburghgives.org on August 3 from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
