A History of AHN Saint Vincent Hospital: 1910s
The Saint Vincent Auxiliary became an official nonprofit organization in 1916 and was designed to harness the abilities and energies of people of all ages and walks of life. From young people to retirees, homemakers to working professionals, volunteers are vital to making AHN Saint Vincent the best place to get and give care. Initially, the Auxiliary assisted only in money-raising projects, entertaining important guests and sewing garments for the hospital, but as the hospital expanded, the group kept pace. The Auxiliary has pledged and donated substantial amounts toward each building drive from 1925 to 2009.

Patterson School of Ballet Supports AHN Saint Vincent Hospital
For years, the dancers of Patterson School of Ballet have been captivating audiences at Festival of Trees. While inclement weather put a hold on the 40th annual event, it did not stop owner Michael Patterson from supporting AHN Saint Vincent Hospital. After all, the show must go on!
Michael, his dancers and their parents held an incredible benefit to support the hospital. He shared that many of his students have been impacted by AHN Saint Vincent and Children’s Miracle Network over the years. We are grateful to have them share their talents and extend a special thank you to Luther Memorial Church, which donated the entertainment space for the fundraiser.
Pictured above are Cecilia Montroy, Christine Bowen (Executive Director of Development, AHN Saint Vincent Hospital), Michael Patterson (Patterson School of Ballet Owner and Artistic Director), Emily Vommaro (AHN Saint Vincent Hospital, Children’s Miracle Network, Program Director) and Ava Szewczyk.
