Grove City Health Care Foundation and Buhl Regional Health Foundation Gifts Expand Cancer Care in Grove City

Thanks to a generous $1 million gift from the Grove City Health Care Foundation and $65,000 from the Buhl Regional Health Foundation, AHN Grove City Hospital has opened its expanded Cancer Institute. The $4.4 million project nearly triples the facility's size. This expansion ensures that residents in Grove City and surrounding communities can receive comprehensive cancer care close to home. Foundation support also helps cover lodging, travel, and other essential needs for patients.

Chill Mobile Kicks Off Fourth Season with Proven Impact

Chill Mobile recently kicked off their behavioral health curriculum in collaboration with Pirates Charities at Minadeo Elementary School! To date, Chill Mobile has engaged over 11,000 students, 1,000 educators, and 10,000 community members. As Chill Mobile embarks on its fourth season, Pirates Charities and philanthropic partners PNC, A.J. and Sigismunda Palumbo Charitable Trust, and Sheetz attended a school assembly that served as a powerful reminder of its collective mission: transforming the delivery of behavioral health to meet the modern mental health needs of our youth.

Highmark Hosts Pittsburgh Penguins 6.6K Run and Family Walk

The 2025 Pittsburgh Penguins 6.6K Run and Family Walk, presented by Highmark, brought together participants from over 49 states. Among these participants were members of the AHN team, including our very own Cardiac Electrophysiology team from the Mario Lemieux Heart Rhythm Center.

AHN and Heritage Valley Health System Sign Affiliation Agreement

The affiliation agreement will expand access to high-quality care for residents of western Allegheny County and the surrounding areas, including greater Beaver County. Pending government approval, Heritage Valley Beaver and Heritage Valley Sewickley will become AHN's 15th and 16th hospitals. This partnership reflects AHN's ongoing commitment to enhancing health care access across Western Pennsylvania.

Celebrate 150 years

A History of AHN Saint Vincent Hospital: 2010s

Saint Vincent Hospital joined AHN in 2013. This was followed by a significant $115 million investment, announced by Highmark and AHN in 2017. This investment funded the construction of a new emergency department, operating suites, a Women and Infants Center, and a Health and Wellness Pavilion. In 2019, the hospital opened a free-standing cancer center.
