AHN Saint Vincent Celebrates 150 Years
AHN Saint Vincent recently celebrated its 150th Anniversary with a reception at the Hagen History Center. Attendees commemorated a century and a half of service to the Erie community and stepped back in time to experience the historical exhibit. The event showcased AHN Saint Vincent's remarkable past and offered a glimpse into the exciting future of health care in Erie.

Goldfish Swim School Makes a Splash with Free Swim Lessons
We extend our deepest gratitude to Goldfish Swim School, whose incredibly generous donation is making a significant difference in the lives of families at AHN! Their donation of three months of complimentary swim lessons for babies born at AHN West Penn, Forbes, Jefferson, and Wexford hospitals is keeping our littlest swimmers afloat. All babies delivered from August 15, 2025 through August 15, 2026 are eligible any time before the child is 15 months old. Goldfish will also waive the annual membership fee for eligible swimmers and provide a free swim diaper for baby's first lesson.

Building Hope and Strength for AHN Cancer Patients
AHN cancer patients have access to the Exercise Oncology Program at AHN Suburban Hospital's 5,000-square-foot fitness center. Through this innovative program, patients can fight back against cancer through weightlifting and resistance training. Research shows participants experience reduced cancer recurrence, less depression and anxiety, and longer survival rates. With the generous support of donors like you, AHN is able to provide patients with free access to certified trainers and cutting-edge equipment for their first three months, empowering them to take control of their recovery journey.

A History of AHN Saint Vincent Hospital: 1990s
The 1990s at Saint Vincent featured continued advancements, including the completion of the Trauma Center renovation, an updated Pediatric Unit, the opening of the Edinboro Medical Center and Fast Track in 1996, a Mercyhurst Nursing Collaboration, the integration of personal computer workstations, and the opening of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Center and Occupational Health Services.
